Rosemary Parson
Trustee
Ms. Parson is currently Senior Vice President (SVP) of Administration and Community Relations and is a charter member of the organization. As a charter member of the organization, she established business structures, operational practices and led in the development of along standing strong corporate culture. As an accomplished leader, Parson was inducted into the Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame in 2021. She previously served on the Iowa Economic Development Board and was Governor appointed to the serve as state Commissioner of the Iowa Department of Human Rights and the Status of African Americans. She has served on several non-profit boards; including Pyramid Theatre, the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation, the YMCA, currently serves as a trustee on the Des Moines Art Center and actively mentors young-adult students in career, health and overall wellness and character. In 2021, Parson co-founded a non-profit (Obesity Awareness in Action – OAA) to bring awareness to underserved community surrounding controllable factors of and available resources to – health & wellness; developing programming to bring such awareness to our youth. Responding to the loss of a reported 3 years of life expectancy due to the pandemic in such communities.
Ms. Parson is married to Jonathan; mother to Candace, enjoys family, youth mentorship, golf and is a past Business Record Women of Influence Honoree. She was selected as a 2019 US Army War College National Security Seminar (#19) leadership participant.
Eric Holoman
Trustee
Mr. Holoman is President and CEO of EquiTrust Life Insurance Corporation, a $26 billion Life and Annuity Company. In addition, he is the Managing Partner of the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks, where he oversees day-to-day operations and sits on the WNBA Board of Governors. His prior leadership roles include President of Magic Johnson Enterprises, Managing Director and Board Member of the award-winning television network ASPIRE, and he’s held senior leadership positions in private banking with Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Mr. Holoman’s public board work includes Banc Of California (Banc), where he served on the Compensation, Executive, and Governance Committees. His private board work includes Simply Healthcare, Inner City Broadcasting Corporation, and others. He has been very active in public service, having served on the Board of the LA City Employees’ Retirement System, including two terms as President and Chair of the Investment Committee. He subsequently served as Vice President of the Board of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the largest municipally owned utility in the country. He chaired the Investment and Economic Development Committees. Mr. Holoman sits on the Cedars Sinai Hospital Board, serves as Treasurer of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, and is the President and CEO of Atlanta Life Insurance Company, the oldest black-founded and owned Life Insurance Company in the U.S.
Mr. Holoman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the Board of Counselors for the Marshall School of Business and the USC President’s Leadership Council.
Stan Washington
Trustee
Mr. Washington is a business leader and entrepreneur who has been a member of the financial services community for more than 30 years. He excells in achieving revenue growth in complex environments and within new business segments. Stan was the former Chairman of LA INC. (The LA Conventions & Visitors Bureau) and under his leadership he led the development of the first U.S. Office of Tourism in opened China by the City of LA, and the founding of the American Express “Dine LA” program which is now a national restaurant program. As Chairman of LASEC (LA Sports & Entertainment Commission) Stan helped to further establish the Commission as a key force in the city’s selection of key events including the Super Bowl, NBA All-Star Game, Grammy’s and other major sports and entertainment events. While working as a Senior Executive at American Express, as Regional Vice President & General Manager, Stan managed over $50 billion in annual charge volume and led growth initiatives within multiple industries including sports, entertainment, fashion, restaurant, lodging, aerospace, technology and commerical development throughout the Western United States and Micronesia. During his tenure Stan supported the launch of the American Express Hawaii Card, AEG/ American Express Staples Center Founding Partnership, Los Angeles Lakers Card Member Marketing Partnership and House of Blues “Blue Music” Blue Card series featuring performers such as Prince and Stevie Wonder. Throughout his career his ability to build high performing teams, increase revenue and profitability and marshal resources has become his calling card.
Additonally, Stan continues to serve as Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Pantheon Business Consulting LLC (PBC), a Beverly Hills, Ca.-based investment, project management and commercial real estate development firm which specializes in developing projects which drive sustainable economic growth within communities of color. Stan is the Developer and Project Executive for Stocker Street Creative a transformative state-of-the-art studio creative campus for TV/Film production based in Baldwin Hills, Ca which is targeted to open in late 2026 within South Los Angeles.

Ayo Alaran
Trustee
Mr. Alaran is the Chief Operating Officer at DelNovak, a government contractor, contributing to national safety and security through delivering cyber security advisory and solutions to Government Agencies. Ayo sits on the board of the Atlanta Life Insurance Company, the oldest black founded and owned Life Insurance Company in the U.S. in 2024, Ayo was named one of the “Director to Watch” by the Private Directors Magazine.
Ayo is a mindfulness practitioner and has shared with hundreds to propagate mindfulness to humanity. Ayo is a regular financial supporter of charitable causes and regularly volunteers his time to share meditative practices. He holds a BSc in Computer Science – Summa Cum Laude – from Georgia Tech and an MBA from MIT where he was selected into the inaugural Entrepreneurship and Innovation program. Ayo was a Toigo Fellow and a Carrol L Wilson Fellow while at MIT
